  • Greg, originally from Otorohanga, Is a retired teacher with a degree In Education and English Literature. He spent the majority of his teaching career In Taumarunui and Te Awamutu. He joined the team at The Dentist Morrinsville as receptionist when he retired from teaching In 2018. away from work Greg enjoys singing In a church music group, cooking, his garden, and tending to his partners horses.

Victoria Whyte

Practice Manager

  • Victoria is excited to join The Dentist Morrinsville as Practice Manager. She is a trained EMT and has spent the past three years working as a Dental Nurse, developing a passion for dentistry, particularly surgical procedures. She is looking forward to this next step in her career and working alongside the wonderful team. Outside of work, Victoria enjoys spending time with her partner, family and her three little sisters, baking, and getting outdoors.

Nicole Baxendine

Dental Assistant

  • Originally from Northern Ireland, Nicole has been working as a dental assistant since 2021. She moved to New Zealand in late 2023 and now proudly calls it home.

    For the past two years, Nicole has volunteered with YWAM Ships Aotearoa, a medical mission ship providing free dental and healthcare services to remote regions of the Pacific, particularly the isolated islands of Fiji. She continues to serve with the organization alongside her husband, Micah—whom she met on board—and together they live in Matamata with their beloved Ragdoll cat.

    Nicole is passionate about promoting oral health education across all ages. She strives to create a calm, welcoming environment for patients and is committed to delivering a high standard of care in every aspect of her work.

    Outside of the clinic and her volunteer work, Nicole enjoys hiking, skiing, playing tennis, and exploring new countries around the world.

Avi Prasad

Director/ Dentist

  • Dr. Avi is a compassionate and empathetic dentist, with a special interest in oral surgery. He is experienced in performing surgical extractions, including impacted wisdom teeth, and is trained in intravenous (IV) sedation to ensure anxious patients feel comfortable and at ease throughout their treatment. As an experienced emergency dentist, Dr. Avi is passionate about providing fast, effective relief from dental pain when patients need it most. At The Dentist Morrinsville, Dr. Avi combines clinical expertise with a gentle approach to deliver high-quality care tailored to each individual. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his partner and their two Ragdoll boys. A car enthusiast at heart, he has a particular penchant for German performance vehicles.

Tim Reiber

Director/ Oral Health Therapist

  • Tim is passionate about supporting patients who experience fear or anxiety around dental care, creating a safe and comfortable environment where they feel empowered and at ease.

    Alongside his dental work, Tim continues to serve as a Captain in the New Zealand Army Reserves. He oversees the Reserve Medics for the upper North Island, supporting their training and professional development. During his time in the Army, Tim was deployed to Afghanistan, the Solomon Islands, and Korea in 2004, 2006 and 2007.

    In 2016, Tim moved to the Bay of Plenty with his two young children, Tarquin and Asterix. Outside of work, he enjoys football, the outdoors, and just about anything involving water.

    Tim is committed to ongoing learning and recently completed a Graduate Certificate in Adult Therapy in 2023, expanding his scope of practice to include adult patients. He has also moved into the field of Cosmetic Injectables, offering treatments such as Botulinum Toxin A (Botox®) and Dermal Fillers. With his strong background in facial anatomy, Tim is well-placed to deliver subtle, natural-looking results using the latest techniques and products.
